    Systems Administrator

    Position: Windows Systems Administrator
    Location: Toronto / Kelowna
    Salary: Negotiable

    Role Description:

    Provide technical administration for Company's dedicated accounts during implementation; ongoing support; and during routine maintenance (proactive) while upholding system integrity and availability, and minimizing risk/impact to the client's business.

    Key Responsibility Areas:

    1. Provide overall technical support and administration to the Company's dedicated account according to CWH standards of excellence.
    2. Deliver high quality service that is traceable and documented.
    3. Responsible for overall technical health of the Company's dedicated accounts including security, availability and reliability.
    4. Maintaining detailed technical documentation around Client systems and routine administrative tasks such as diagrams and setup guides.
    5. Coordinate and communicate directly with TAM, Support and Engineering teams to ensure expectations are being met.
    6. In service-affecting circumstances, provide after hours support 24x7 (will be compensated with time in lieu).
    7. Develop and/or contribute to technical standards to enhance our service delivery.
    8. Attend and contribute to weekly meetings held by internal teams.
    9. Contribute to shift rotation for office.

    Qualifications:

    1. Self starter that meets deadlines, multi-tasks, sets and achieves measurable goals.
    2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    3. Ability to lead and motivate project teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while dealing diplomatically with internal and external partners.
    4. Superb analytical and problem solving skills.
    5. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    6. Experience in IT (Hosting infrastructure; Control Panels, Real World DNS & Email).
    7. Domain name registration, SSL Certificates, and FTP.
    8. NAGIOS monitoring and Bandwidth reports.
    9. If Windows role (3+ years required in the following): Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server Administration; Active Directory; NTFS File Permissions; ASP.NET; Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS); Microsoft SQL 7/SQL 2000/2005; TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, WAN
    10. Certifications Preferred: MCSA, MCP, REDHAT CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN, CCNA, ITIL Foundations

    Compensation:

    1. Salary depending on performance and experience
    2. Standard employee dental and health plan
